Truck strike in Dinajpur from tomorrow

Dinajpur Truck Owner Association begins a 48- hour strike from tomorrow protesting rampant hijacking of rice laden truck and killing of transport workers on highways.At least two transport workers were killed on highways in Dinajpur in last ten days. Earlier, on March 25, the association at a press conference at Dinajpur Press Club. Dinajpur police on March 26 recovered a hijacked truck along with decomposed bodies of its driver and helper from inside the vehicle in Birganj. The truck was hijacked on March 24. Police said they could not arrest any body in this connection.
