Bangla Bhai's Muktagachha host on fresh remand

Chan Miah, who hosted JMJB chief Siddiqul Islam Bangla Bhai and JMB cadre Abdul Hye at his house in Rampur village in Muktagachha were placed on five days fresh remand yesterday.Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) of Detective Branch (DB) police Mainul Islam prayed for the remand. First Class Magistrate MA Mohsin Miah granted the remand in an arms case filed earlier with Muktagacha police station by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) after the arrest of Bangla Bhai and Abdul Hye in a massive operation in the village on March 6. They were arrested from the house of Chan Mia. Earlier Chan Miah and Abdul Hye were taken on 15 days' remand in two phases for interrogation.
