Fame Trio live at Dhaka Club


India's first "Jodi No 1" from the popular talent hunt Fame Gurukul, Ruprekha Bannerjee and Qazi Touqeer, along with Rex D'souza once again charmed the audience with their second performance in Dhaka on March 30.

The president and the members of the executive committee of Dhaka Club Limited (DCL) presented the musical evening titled Fame Trio held at Dhaka Club.

The show featured modern South Asian music. The artistes also performed popular numbers requested by the audience.

The concert began with Ruprekha performing a Bangla song. She went on to render several Bangla numbers such as Priyo tumi dekhi go tomaye, Naa.... mono lagey naa and others that received hearty applause from the audience. She also rendered some popular Hindi movie songs.

After the intermission, one of the finalists of Fame Gurukul, Rex took the stage and entertained the audience with some melodious songs highlighting his vocal skills. The singer performed O soniya...Adding Bangladesh will be in my heart to the song received a warm response from the audience. Rex's performance was exciting and the young ones responded to that with whistles and cheers.

Performance by Fame Gurukul's wonder boy Qazi Touqeer was indeed a treat. He sang popular numbers like Bhigey hoth terey, Tum dilki dhadkan mein and Bhumbro that received rounds of applause from the crowd. Halfway through the performance, part of the female crowd tried to head towards the stage to get a closer look at the up and coming star.

The night ended with a beautiful composition, showcasing the diversity and variety of the singer's impressive repertoire.
