Golden first day for hosts

Hosts Patuakhali, BJMC and BDR won gold medals on the opening day of the 30th National Cycling Championship yesterday. In the 100km road time trial team event, Patuakhali won gold while Shafiqul Islam of BDR bagged gold in the 30km time trial individual. In the women's 15km time trial Farhana Sultana Shila of BJMC got gold. More than 100 sportsmen from 12 districts and 4 sports organisations are taking part in the meet.
