Road mishap kills one in Rajbari

A man was killed and two others sustained injuries when a microbus rammed their motorcycle at Gariana Kalibari in Pangsha upazila yesterday morning.The deceased was identified as Chandan Modok, 40, hailed from Gafargaon in Mymensingh district. Injured Sudhangsu Dutta, 41, and Laxman Dey, 32, were admitted to Rajbari Sadar Hospital. Police and witnesses said all the three passengers fell on the road from the bike when the Kushtia-bound microbus knocked down it from behind at about 9am. The microbus ran over Chandan when the driver hurriedly escaped the scene, leaving him dead on the spot.
