Fire panics traders at Karwan Bazar

Panic gripped among hundreds of traders and garment workers at Karwan Bazar in the city yesterday when a warehouse caught fire.

Witnesses said fire broke out at around 12:45pm from a lighting candle when a worker of a painting warehouse of Kabba Kas Super Market was using it, as electricity had been snapped for a long time.

The traders and workers of the entire floor of the three-storey building came out in fear of fire but managed to put out the flame using 23 gas cylinders.
