Robbery at City House
Cash, valuables worth Tk 18.50 lakh looted

Armed robbers looted cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Tk 18.50 lakh from the house of a car showroom owner at South Mugdapara in the city yesterday. A gang of five robbers entered the house of Nurul Islam Masud pressing doorbell at around 3:30pm. They made all members of the family hostage at gunpoint and looted Tk 1 lakh in cash, 120 tolas of gold ornaments and other valuables. Masud filed a case with Sabujbagh Police Station last night. Police have failed to arrest anyone or recover looted goods as of 12:10am today.
