Syed Anisul Huq, president and managing director of Bank Asia, inaugurated the credit disbursement programme, which was attended by executive director of BURO, an NGO. Other senior executives of both the organisations were also present.

Huq said Bank Asia has been disbursing micro credit among the poor since its inceptions to fulfill its social commitment. This credit is disbursed through the bank's rural branches.
