Young artists' exhibition begins Feb 3

A weeklong art exhibition of young artists begins in the city on February 3.Vice-chancellor of National University Prof Wakil Ahmed will inaugurate the exhibition at Zainul Gallery at the Institute of Fine Arts of Dhaka University at 10.30 am. The Bangladesh Artist Welfare Organisation is arranging the exhibition. Anwar Hussain, convenor of the organising committee, said the objectives of the exhibition are to promote young artists of the country, especially the students of art colleges and departments of arts in various public and private universities. He said more than 50 young artists have sent their names to participate in the exhibition. The exhibition will remain open from 10:30am to 8:00pm.
