Impress Limited and Banglalink join hands in a film venture


Banglalink, a mobile phone operator, will sponsor 12 films to be produced this year by Impress Tele-film Limited (ITL).

An agreement to this effect, was signed between managing director of the Impress Limited Faridur Reza Sagar and Shahed Zubaer of Banglalink in the city at a press conference recently.

Sagar, managing director of Channel-i, Senior Manager (Public Relation and Communication) and film director Amjad Hossain addressed the press conference.

Sagar said that Impress Tele film Ltd has been involved in positive film production for a long time and it wants to revive the positive image of films. He added that Banglalink is interested in producing social films, which will reflect the hopes and aspirations of the masses.

Amjad Hossain said that a sponsor is essential to produce a positive film and film directors should try to be discriminating in their choice of subjects.
