Bangladesh is my second home: Zarab

Ambassador of Palestine in Dhaka Mohammad Shahta Zarab paid a farewell call on Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Sheikh Hasina at her Dhanmondi residence yesterday. During the call on, they discussed about overall socio-economic and political situation of Bangladesh apart from different bilateral issues, meeting sources said. Zarab performed his duty in Bangladesh since July 1989 and was the Dean of the Diplomatic Corp in Dhaka. Emerging from the meeting, Zarab told journalists that Bangladesh is his second home. "I always expect its success and progress." He termed Hasina as his sister and said, "I came to say her a goodbye." Recalling his memory here, Zarab said Bangladesh is a good country, its people are good, and he extended his thanks to the people.
