6 'JMB suspects' held in Barisal

Barisal Kotwali police arrested six persons including one Indian national as suspected JMB men from residential hotels and a bus stand in the city yesterday. They are Bijoy Swarup, an Indian citizen; hawkers Ainal Fakir and Akkas Al; betel nut trader Torab Ali Matubbar; and college students Faisal Khan and Manzur Shahin. They were arrested under Section 54. Police said they will seek for remand of the arrested persons today. Police said Bijoy Swarup, 38, son of Ram Swarup of Dakkhinewsar Mandir, Belgharia in Kolkata, West Bengal, has no legal document.
