Released JMB suspects flee Manikganj

The 11 JMB suspects released yesterday few hours after their arrest fled from their mess at Bardulia in the town later at night.Acting on a tip-off, Manikganj Sadar police arrested the 11 youths from their mess at about 4 am Saturday. They were released after district Ameer of Jammat-e-Islami Maulana Delwar Hossain and General Secretary Anwar Hossain went to the police station for their release. Forty-five youths including the 11 had been staying at the house for about one year. All the youths including those who were not arrested left the house Saturday night, sources said. Meanwhile, alleged JMB member Rafiqul Islam, accused of involvement in August 17 blasts in Savar, was placed on seven days' remand yesterday.
