3rd Indo-Lanka Test moved to Ahmedabad

The third Test of the ongoing series between India and Sri Lanka has been shifted from Kanpur to Ahmedabad, a top cricket official announced here on Sunday."The third and final Test will be held in Ahmedabad from December 18 to 22," India's new cricket board chief Sharad Pawar said after ruling out Kanpur's Green Park stadium, which was not available for the match. The southern city of Chennai is hosting the opening match of the three-Test series, the first three days of which have been abandoned due to rain. The second Test will be held in New Delhi from December 10 to 14. This is Sri Lanka's first Test tour of India since 1997.
