AL not eager to resist bombers: Bhuiyan

BNP Secretary General Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan yesterday criticised Awami League for its rejection of offer for dialogue on terrorism, saying it proves that they are not willing to resist bombers and terrorists.

"Rather, they (AL) want to fish in the troubled water," he told a public meeting at Lakhpur Road crossing in Dulalpur union under Shibpur upazila.

Bhuiyan, also LGRD and Cooperatives Minister, said the bombers and terrorists are enemies of the country and development. He said it is the responsibility of all irrespective of party politics and opinion to eliminate the terrorists from the society.

He called on the people to get united against terrorism and bomb attacks to ensure the development. "BNP believes in politics of production. Whenever BNP came to power, the country achieved massive development while during the Awami League rule, development process was hampered," he said.
