Charge sheet submitted against six

Police submitted a charge sheet against six people, including banned Islamic outfit JMB's chief Shaikh Abdur Rahman and outlawed JMJB Bangla Bhai, on Wednesday night in connection with the November 14 suicide bombing that left two judges killed.In the charge sheet, JMB's suicide squad member Mamun was shown as the main accused while five others were shown as planners of the attack. The six accused are suicide bomber Mohammad Iftekhar Hossain Mamun, Sultan Khan of Kirtikati, Abdul Awal, son-in-law of Shaikh Abdur Rahman, Shaikh Abdur Rahman Ibne Abdullah, Ataur Rahman, brother of Shaikh Abdur Rahman and Siddiqul Islam alias Bangla Bhai. Officer-in-Charge of Jhalakati Sadar Police Station Sohrab Ali submitted the charge sheet under articles 3,4,5, and 6 of the Explosive Act. Two cases -- one under the Explosive Act and another of murder -- were filed in connection with the bomb attack.
