Fishing boats looted

Fishes worth about Tk 2 lakh were looted from 15 fishing boats from Kuakata coastal area Bay Tuesday night allegedly by pirates belonging to notorious Alauddin Bahini.About 20 fishermen were injured in the attacks, Kuakata police said yesterday. The boats were going to Mohipur in Barisal. The pirates on four boats sailed towards Bhola after looting the boats. The same gang also looted five boats carrying merchandise on Tentulia river on Friday, police said.
