Awami League Joint Secretary Obaidul Kader on behalf of party president Sheikh Hasina distributed the clothes at its Dhanmandi office.

Kader told the freedom fighters that the countrymen are now in serious crisis and passing a bad time.

"People of northern areas are seriously hit by Monga. Thousands of people are passing their days unfed and half-fed. A number of people already died of hunger in the Monga-hit areas.
