Adulterated food

The ongoing campaign in Bangladesh by the mobile courts to check adulterated food and hygienic conditions is indeed applauded. I think the government and its magistrates should be credited for the good work. But the solution does not lie in just inspection, jail, and fine. Rather a mass public awareness should be created through education, media campaign, religious teaching, boycott, etc. All should come forward and play an active part in this critical campaign. The government, of course, should initiate such awareness but all including teachers, journalists, NGOs, imams, priests, sports and movie celebrities should contribute equally.

This should be done in addition to regular inspection if we are to see any improvement.
