Load-shedding & luminosity

In the holy month of Ramadan, when people are experiencing an unbearable ordeal due to erratic power supply, there are many shopping malls in the luminous cities dazzling with overflow of lights which is highly regrettable.

The government made an appeal to the shop owners prior to the month not to use power indiscriminately, unfortunately the irony is that the meeting was being held at a overly lighted building of the home ministry! (Daily Star Oct.14).

We've a huge gap between preaching & practice.
