Nawab Ali Waris Khan, a prominent industrialist of Prithimpassa in Kulaura upazila, died of blood cancer at a hospital in Madras, India on September 27. He was 37. His namaj-e-janaza was held at Prithimpassa Nawab Bari on Thursday. Thousands of people from all walks of life took part in the janaza. He was buried at the family graveyard.
