The campus of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) was drowned in a sea of euphoria on September 1, courtesy the RC Cola open-air concert. The concert was organised by BUET batch'02 and titled Heyali. There were two well-known bands Aurthohin and Artcell, as well as two underground bands Arbovirus and Metrical which put on a dazzling performance. The first band to take the stage was Arbovirus, followed by the other young and talented band Metrical. The vocalists of the two underground bands drew a good response from the audience. Next up was Aurthohin. Led by the ex-Warfaze bassist Sumon, they came on stage greeted by the crowd's ovation. The band began with Chaitey Paro. Without a break Aurthohin played their popular numbers Nirbodh, Protichchobi, Itihash, Hoytoba, Guti-1, Rater Train, Amar Klanti, Bijoyer Gaan, Shurjo, Adbhut Shei Cheleti. Unable to resist the appeal of the band, the crowd went wild as they sang and danced with the music. Sumon's smooth guitar works also won plaudits from the audience. Another draw was Artcell. Beginning with their popular number, Poth Chola, Artcell went on to perform Shomoy, Bhul Jonmo, Anno Shomay, Apshori, Adekha Shorgo, Dhusor Shomay, Dukkho Bilash and Chilekothar Shepai. "Artcell is among the country's progressive metal bands. This band constantly sets new standards in the music scene with their innovative composition and instrumental skills. Through the years, this band has gradually evolved, which is apparent in the trend of their composition in various mixed albums. It was a great opportunity to listen to some great music," said one of the enthusiastic fans.
