Child abuse

The Daily Star published two recent stories of child abuse. The first one was on a 12-year-old girl, Aklima, who had been sent to prison as she was accused of stealing goods from her employer's house. She was beaten severely and forced to confess to stealing the goods, though she was innocent. The second one, Mursheda, an eight year old was beaten by her landlord as she was trying to get a guava, later she was being given treatment in a hospital. Such incidents are being reported regularly by the press.

So I would request all conscious people to come forward to save the innocent children and helpless domestic aides.
