SI suspended on charge of moral turpitude

A police sub-inspector (SI) has been was suspended on charge of developing relations with a woman taking the scope of investigating a case filed by her.The action was taken SI Moshiur Rahman of Sirajganj Sadar thana on orders from Sirajganj Police Superintendent Shahadat Hossain following filing of a complaint by her. According to police sources, Rehana Pervin Moni, 20, of Railway Colony in the town filed a case against her husband for torturing her. SI Moshiur, taking the scope of investigating the case, developed relations with her. She then filed a complaint with higher authorities in police.
