Witnesses said the accident occurred when a Dhaka bound bus from Sripur collided with a truck leaving three men dead on the spot.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Two injured were admitted to Gazipur Sadar hospital.

Police seized the vehicles, but the drivers managed to escape.

Bodies were sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
