Restriction on visitors at Secretariat

The home ministry in an official order on Saturday asked the officials concerned not to issue passes to the visitors of secretariat without official reasons. The home ministry order said it feared untoward incidents might happen within the secretariat including disruption of security. The officials have been instructed to issue passes only to those coming to their respective offices on emergency government work. Sources said the criminals failed to explode bombs inside the secretariat during the countrywide simultaneous bomb blasts on August 17. Several officials of intelligence agencies fear the bomb attacks similar to that of August 17 might happen at the secretariat at any time.
