BITM cautious about internet pornography

The special issue of 'Bangladesh IT Monitor' (BITM), a quarterly published by the students of Dhaka University that came out this week, points out the impact of 'internet pornography' on youths.

Starting from October last year, the magazine has so far released three issues including their special edition, which revolves around the adverse effects of internet through internet obscenity.

The articles of the issue discusses how the use of internet in the country has been growing but considering the mass population its use has yet to expand but this may eventually manipulate fresh minds through misuse of the internet, such as pornography.

This issue had been raised at the interest of university students utilising their academic knowledge and general perception of the society.

The magazine can be found at the following stores: Fair Deal - New Market, Modern Book Center - Nilkhet and Pathak Shamabesh - Aziz Supermarket.
