2 Satkhira JMB cadres on fresh remand

JMB cadres Nasir Uddin and Maniruzzaman Munna were placed an eight days' fresh remand for the third time on Thursday and sent to Dhaka for quizzing by the joint interrogation cell (JIC). Investigation officer (IO) of the August 17 bomb blast case CID Inspector Munshi Atiqur Rahman brought the two accused here from Dhaka and produced them before the court of Magistrate Saidur Rahman, seeking 10 days' remand. The court granted eight days' remand. Earlier, they were placed on eight day's remand twice-- on August 18 and August 25. Police sources said the two JMB cadres were arrested on August 17 by police soon after the blasts across the country. They admitted involvement in the August 17 incident.
