Rickshaw van owners and workers will go for a 48-hour strike in the city on October 1 and 2 to press home their demands.Bangladesh Rickshaw-van Owners' Workers' Action Council, at a rally at Muktangon here yesterday, threatened to enforce the strike if their demands are not fulfilled by September 30. Member secretary of the organisaton M Insur Ali read out the announcement in the rally, presided over by council convenor Ali Akbar. Their demands include implementation of the MOU signed between the council and the City Corporation.
