BSF kills one in Lalmonirhat

A Bangladeshi citizen was gunned down and two others were injured by the Border Security Force (BSF) of India on Patgram border on Thursday night.The dead was identified as Nurul Islam of Jagotaber village in the upazila. The injured--Ibrahim and Salimuddin--were admitted to Bogra Clinic in sadar upazila. Sources said the BSF men opened fire on them at about 10:30pm as they reportedly crossed the borderline, leaving Nurul Islam dead on the spot and Ibrahim and Salimuddin wounded critically.
