Valuables worth Tk 15 lakh looted in Savar

A gang of masked robbers looted valuables worth Tk 15 lakh from a house in Savar municipal area early Thursday. Sources said, the gang of armed robbers numbering eight to 10 stormed into the house of Haji Noor Mohammad, a businessman, at Savar and looted Tk 20,000 cash, about 100 tolas of gold ornaments, television, VCR, mobile phones and even costly costumes worth Tk 15 lakh. A case was filed with the local police station in this connection.
