Hype concerns Parreira

Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has said that Robinho will start Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Chile, adding that he is worried about the hype surrounding the 21-year-old forward. Parreira said he was naming his team early to avoid speculation over whether or not Real Madrid's new signing would play. "I'm not going to indulge in any mystery because I want to avoid people going over the top over Robinho," he told reporters on Tuesday. "The team has been decided upon and that's it, we can work in peace and quiet. I'm worried about the hype surrounding the players. "There is a lot of marketing in favour of Robinho but, in life, you are remembered for what you win and Robinho is only starting out. "I'm worried about the exaggeration of everything to do with him." Parreira said Robinho would play behind the front pair of Ronaldo and Adriano. "Adriano and Ronaldo will have the freedom to move around, with the support of the two behind who are Kaka and Robinho," he said. Brazil, second in the 10-nation South American qualifying group with 27 points from 15 games, need a win in Brasilia to guarantee their place in the finals in Germany. Parreira is without Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho through suspension. Meanwhile, Chile coach Nelson Acosta has told his team to avoid being awe-struck when they face Brazil. "We have to play without a complex, if we just sit and watch (Brazil striker) Robinho we could end up asking for autographs," Acosta said on Tuesday. "I want Chile to play with the dream of winning and not just go out thinking that Brazil are on the other side, this would be bad and dangerous." Chile are sixth in the 10-nation South American qualifying group with 20 points from 15 games and have bounced back into contention by winning their last two games. The top four teams qualify directly for Germany and the fifth plays off against the winners of the Oceania region.
