Smoking on campus

The recent prohibition of smoking in public by the government is obviously a praiseworthy move. But its result is not seen in reality i.e, people are not obeying the directive at all. I get shocked to see the university boys smoking openly. Though it is evident to them that they are expected to be the most conscious guys of the society, they are going on with smoking for no sensible reason, but to show themselves as smart people, especially to girls. To me, they are not intelligent. Whatever the case is, we the university students should not forget our responsibilities. If we are not conscious, the government decision will be meaningless forever. As a student of the university, I am appealing to all the guys to be conscious about the bad effects of smoking.
