29 killed by law enforcement agencies in July


A total of 29 people were killed allegedly by different law enforcement agencies across the country last month, said a Bangladesh Human Rights Commission (BHRC) report yesterday.

Of them, 19 were killed in police crossfire, six in Rab(Rapid Action Battalion) crossfire, two in police custody and two in police chase.

Besides, seven prisoners died in jail custody, said the report based on stories of different national dailies and information received from different branches of the commission.
