2 Bangla Bhai men dropped from charge sheet

The police dropped two top associates of Bangla Bhai from the Ziaul Haque Zia murder case of Raninagar as the charge sheet was submitted to a Naogaon court yesterday.Bangla Bhai's Bheti camp in-charge Shariatullah Simar and his deputy Mustafizur Rahman Khwaza were the top accused in the case. Sub-inspector Entaz Ali submitted the charge sheet accusing 20 people but excluded the two. Challenging the charge sheet, the plaintiff Jasim Uddin, Zia's father, submitted his no-confidence petition over the police report. He alleged that they were dropped as they are associates of Bangla Bhai. Hearing both sides, the magistrate court fixed the order date on August 22. Zia was abducted from home allegedly by Bangla Bhai's men and was beaten to death by hanging upside down with a tree in Raninagar upazila on November 14 last year.
