Cash, motorcycle parts looted from Eskaton shop


Robbers heisted Tk 3.75 lakh in cash and motorcycle spare parts from a shop on New Eskaton Road in the capital Sunday night.

Police said the criminals entered the shop of Bangladesh Auto-manufacturing Limited on the 3rd floor of Shamsuddin Mansion cutting window grills.

The shop employees yesterday morning found the cash box, an attached warehouse and the managing director's office opened, police said.

Mainuddin, a staff of the shop, filed a case with Ramna Police Station mentioning that the robbers looted Tk 1.25 lakh in cash and Tk 2.5 lakh worth of spare parts.
