Figo tilting towards Inter

Real Madrid midfielder Luis Figo will turn down Liverpool's advances and sign for Inter Milan, it was reported here on Sunday. The ANSA news agency claimed that negotiations are at an advanaced stage and that the 32-year-old Portuguese international could finalise a deal with the Italians by August 4. Meanwhile, Argentinian de-fender Walter Samuel will also leave Real Madrid and sign for Inter Milan on Monday, ANSA reported. The 27-year-old will sign a four-year deal with the transfer believed to be worth 16 million euros. Samuel first played in Italy in 2000 joining Roma after starting his career with Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires.
