Yousuf clinches BBC snooker crown

The Bangladesh Billiards Centre, Chittagong organised a knockout snooker tournament at its premises on Friday. Sixteen participants fought for the title that eventually went to Taif Bin Yousuf. Faridul Islam Polash became runner-up. Later, Mir Kashem Chowdhury, the BBC chairman and Ahmedul Kabir Nipu, BBC director distributed prizes among the winners. The tournament has been organised to promote the game of snooker among youngsters in the port city, general manager of BBC William F Doherty said.
