Teletalk draw for countrywide applicants Aug 8

The Teletalk lottery for the countrywide applicants will be held at Lake Shore at Gulshan 2 at 3.30pm on August 8, sources said. It was decided at a meeting at the Teletalk office yesterday. The Teletalk SIMs will be distributed among 140,000 applicants through the draw from among 808,000. The Teletalk authorities continued countrywide online distribution of forms from July 12 to 22. The Teletalk officials said the winners will have to collect the SIMs from the nearest designated banks. Earlier, in two phases, 70,000 customers of Dhaka zone were selected through computerised lottery from among some 433,461 applicants. Meanwhile, the interconnectivity agreements of Teletalk with all private mobile operators have been signed and the mobile subscribers will enjoy the facility within a week, the officials added.
