2 taskforces to be formed for social compliance in RMG sector

Two task forces will be formed soon to ensure implementation of different aspects of social compliance issue in the RMG sector. Members of Social Compliance Forum for RMG agreed on forming the "Occupation safety" and the "Labour Welfare in RMG" taskforces in their first meeting yesterday at the ministry of commerce. The meeting was participated by all members of the Forum. The additional secretary of the home ministry will head the taskforce on "Occupational Safety" while the director general of the Fire Services and Civil Defence will act as its member secretary. Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment will head the task force on "Labour Welfare for RMG" and the director, Department of Labour has been made its member secretary.
