Population boom

Bangladesh is a small country of Asia and it is the most densely populated country in the world. The area of Bangladesh is too small to accommodate the vast population. We have a clear idea about the main reason behind this problem--it is illiteracy. The people of our country have a common belief that if they have a son he will be an asset for them. So even some educated people opt for more children. The population growth rate is higher in the rural areas. They are not interested in birth control. There are no hospitals, doctors and medicines. So those people don't get good medical treatment. And their children are growing in poverty. The people who live in slums lead an unhygienic life in cities and towns. The population boom creates various types of problems such as food problem, communication problem, education problem, unemployment problem, environmental problem and poverty. The environment of Bangladesh is polluted due to the vast population. The forests are destroyed for accommodating the growing population. So nature loses its element. The number of transports has increased. It creates traffic jam and the air is polluted. The number of factories has also increased. The living places have become dirty. When we walk through the streets, we get the bad smell of dustbin. It creates odour pollution. Dirty and unhygienic food is sold in the open shops and teashops. So the poor often suffer form diseases. But who will look into all these problems?
