British, Thai visa centres open in Ctg


The British and Thai visa centres were inaugurated in Chittagong yesterday.

Deputy director of the British High Commission in Dhaka (Visa operation) John Durney inaugurated the British Visa Centre at the Chamber of Commerce building in the morning.

From the centre, visa will be issued to the British Council approved students and businessmen within seven days of submission of visa application.

Meanwhile, ambassador of Thailand Supath Chitranangko inaugurated the Thai Visa Centre at the same building. The Thai visa centre will issue visa in four days to the businessmen and tourists and in two days to the patients.

President of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries Saifuzzaman Chowdhury was present on the occasions.
