'BNP launders thousands of crores of taka abroad'

Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) President Prof AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury yesterday alleged that BNP is laundering thousands of crores of taka abroad.He also alleged that the government took bribe from inexperienced Niko to give contract to extract gas from Tengratila that resulted in the blowup of the gas field. Prof Chowdhury was speaking at the party office in the city where a large number of leaders and workers of Barisal Jubo Dal, youth wing of BNP, joined the BDB under the leadership of AZM Saleh and Md Nannu Mia. He termed the joining a signal for many more BNP leaders to join the BDB later. Prof Chowdhury condemned the BNP attacks on BDB leaders and workers across the country to foil its rallies and precessions.
