What's going on!

I'm writing about a national problem that's making us suffer. Yes, I'm talking about hartals, which have become a disturbing part of our national life.

Hartal is an accepted form of protest against a government decision. But the opposition party of our parliament uses it every now and then. There were two days of hartal at the time of HSC examinations. For hartals, the examinees suffered much. Two exams were cancelled and they had to sit for those two exams after a long time. It hampered their concentration and preparations for exams.
