PBCP cadre murdered in Khulna

Police yesterday recovered the body of an operative of Janajuddho faction of outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) at Arhonghata bypass road in Khulna city.The dead body was identified as Azizul Huq alias Aijja, 38. Police said that the extremist was wanted in seven criminal cases, including murders and robberies. He was son of Shamsur Rahman alias Shamsu Shaikh of Kartikkul under Daulatpur thana. He was shot in his head and chest. The murder was a sequel to intra-party rivalry, police said.
