Army nabs 7 in Khagrachhari, recovers arms

Army personnel yesterday arrested seven indigenous people from Machalang with two firearms, ammunition and currencies.On information, an army patrol team from Baghaihaat zone raided the areas and arrested the men with one rifle, one revolver, ammunition and local and foreign currencies. Two of the arrestees are Image Chakma, 30, and Sugata Chakma, 28. The identities of the others could not be known immediately. The security forces were raiding adjoining areas in the locality to seize more arms and ammunition.
