Late but praiseworthy

At last the Awami League has taken a late but praiseworthy step of expelling notorious terrorist and godfather, Joynal Hazari. It was rather late for the AL. Now, both the major parties should be very alert about their criminal and terrorist MPs, ward commissioners and other activists. The people of our country have witnessed much dummy game in the name of democracy. In this context, I would like to repeat what the former President of the US Abraham Lincoln said: "You can fool part of the people all the time, and all the people part of times but you cannot fool all the people all the time." During the Awami regime, the AL leaders said that the press media had made him a terrorist. They also condemned the role of the media. Consequently, Hazari became very violent. Even his terrorist gang "Class Committee" ruled the 'Feni' as their own land. Tipu Sultan, a journalist of a leading newspaper, was disabled by Hazari's terrorist gang. The former PM and present leader of the opposition told in support of Hazari that, "Hazari was, Hazari is and Hazari will be there'. Now, we can say that Hazari was, Hazari is not and Hazari will not be there. On the other hand, what the BNP, the government party, is doing? There are terrorists in their folds. We, the general people, want the political parties to be more assertive, more proactive rather than reactive.
