Shafiqul Islam, 23, an employee of Nippon Sweater Factory at Tongi Ershadnagar, had been missing since last three days, said his relatives.

Fellow workers in the factory found the body in the storeroom located on the third floor of the building after smelling bad odour coming from there in the morning.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.

Islam was killed couple of days back and the body was mutilated, said morgue sources.

Police picked up two employees Jamil and Sabbir in this connection.
