People will force govt to apologise for DU incidents, says Dr Kamal

Jatiya Oikya Mancha Convenor Dr Kamal Hossain yesterday said the 14 crore people of the country will force the government to apologise for the recent incidents on the Dhaka University (DU) campus."Make a list of armed cadres and godfathers…One day they'll have to be accountable to the nation," the Gono Forum president urged people addressing a public meeting at Mukta Mancha in the district town. "Many killings took place in the country, but investigation reports of those cases have not been made public, but people want the government to disclose those," Dr Kamal said. He said the government as well as its cadres will not be able to protect themselves with black money if the people get united. Local unit of Jatiya Oikya Mancha organised the meeting with Tobarak Hossain in the chair. Gono Forum General Secretary Saifuddin Ahmed Manik, Mofidul Hossain Khan Kamal, Mostafa Mohsin Montu and Moshtaque Ahmed, among others, addressed the meeting.
