3 killed, 50 hurt as tornado hits Netrakona
BDNEWS, Netrakona
Three people were killed and 50 others injured as a tornado lashed Netrakona Sadar, Madan and Atpara upazila yesterday evening. The identity of the dead could not be known immediately. The injured were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH), Madan and Atpara health complexes. Locals said the tornado devastated 20 to 25 villages of three upazilas. Electric poles were uprooted in the affected areas, snapping power supply. Being informed, State Minister for Home Lutfozzaman Babar went to his constituency Madan in Netrokona.
